  1. well you can sit and do this exercise but your butt can get soar, it also has less pounding on your joints. Really it is what you enjoy I know some elderly who really like treadmills, while others go for swimming.

  2. The recumbent bike is easier on the body than an upright bike.
    They are equally effective forms of exercise
