What muscles to exercise bikes work? Calf muscle?

Filed under: exercise — Farhan Khatri @ 8:41 am

I have an exercise bike at home. I have started a programe to build my leg muscles. I can follow or use most of the exercises for all parts of the leg except the calf muscles – because I don’t have access to gym equipment like leg presses etc…

Do exercise bikes build up calf muscle?

  2. i believe if you try standing up on the peddles rather than sitting you should be able to work your calf muscles better

  3. Cycling doesn’t do much to build muscle. Cycling is more of a cardio exercise. Try lifting weights if you are trying to bulk up. It will take you a long time on a bicycle…
