Best Abs Workout
On top of their list is the bicycle exercise which targets both the waist and the six pack. To do this properly, one has to lie on one’s back and place fingers behind one’s head. Move the knees in towards the chest area and lift the shoulder blades without pulling on the neck. Then straighten the left leg out while at the same time turn the upper body to the right. In effect, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee. Next is to switch sides, this time bringing the right elbow towards the left knee. Continue the pedalling motion for 12-16 repetitions. Make sure you alternate sides.
The second best abs work out is the captain’s chair leg raise. The captain’s chair is a rack with padded arms that allows your legs to hang freely. One must avoid swinging the legs or using the momentum to raise one’s legs. Always keep the knees bent since this will help you focus on your abdominals not on your hips. To do this correctly, stand on the chair and grip the handholds to make your upper body stable. Then press your back against the pad and compress your abs to be able to raise your legs and lift your knees towards your chest. Remember not to arch your back or swing your legs up. You should slowly lower your back down. Do this in sets of 1-3 consisting of 12-16 repetitions.
The third best abs workout is the exercise ball crunch. Here you just need to lie on your back with the ball under your mid or lower back. You can either place your hand behind your head or cross your arms over your chest. Then contract your abs in order to lift your torso off the ball. This in effect, will pull the bottom of your ribcage down towards your hips. Always keep the ball steady when curling up to avoid any injuries. Lastly, lower your back down. This will stretch your abs. Do at least 12-16 repetitions.

Identifying Plastics For Plastic Welding
On most Plastic parts on the back side there will be a symbol. This symbol tells the welder what kind of plastic you are working with.(If no symbol is found then you will have to weld different rods to see if the rod will hold to the plastic)
This is a very important step because to weld Plastic the filler rod has to be the same as the Plastic being welded.{unless you use the fiber-flex rod, but this rod only comes in black}
There are 2 families of plastics 1}thermoset and 2}thermoplastic
THERMOSET -Can not be melted and reused.
THERMOPLASTIC-Can be melted and reused
SYMBOL CHART
THERMOSET PLASTIC
PUR, RIM,RRIM- These are usually flexible. Bubble and smoke when melted. When welding Don’t melt base material! Melt the welding rod into the v-groove like a hot melt glue.
THERMOPLASTIC
ABS-{Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene}- Rigid, can be of any color, Used on interior plastic parts in cars, trucks and also household goods parts of sweepers, handles on pots ect.
EEBC-{Ether Ester Block Copolymer}- Flexible, off-white in color. Best to use Uni-Weld fiberflex.
EMA-{Ethylene Methacrylic Acid}-Semi-rigid, comes in many colors.Use Uni-weld fiberflex.
PA-{Polyamide(nylon)-rigid,sands finely.Used on Radiator tanks, headlamp bezel, exterior trim parts, mirror.
PC+ABS PULSE-{Polycarbonate & ABS}-Rigid, usually dark in color,sands finely.Preheat plastic with welder before welding.
PC+PBT-{Xenoy a Polycarbonate blend}-Very rigid.Used for bumper covers.Preheat plastic with weld before welding.
PE-{Polyethylene}-Semi-flexible, melts & smears when grinding usually semi-translucent.Used on overflow tanks, inner fender panels, ATV fenders. Applying filler or painting is impossible.
PP-{Polypropylene}-Semiflexible, melts and smears when grinding.
PPO+PA-{Noryl GTX (Nylon blend)}-Semi-rigid, usually off-white in color.car fenders and exterior trim. Preheat plastic with welder before welding.
TEEE-{Thermoplastic Ether Ester Elastomer}- Flexible, Used on bumpers, panels. Use fiberflex welding rod.
TPE-{thermoplastic Elastomer}-Semi-flexible, melts and smears when grinding. Used on bumper covers, under the hood parts.Use Uni-Weld Fiberflex rod.
TPO, TEO, PP/EPDM-{Thermoplastic Olefin}-Semi-flexible melts and smears when grinding. Used on Gilles, interior parts, snowmobile cowls.Use Uni-Weld Fiberflex rod.
TPU, TPUR-{Thermoplastic Polyurethane}-Flexible,Sands finely. Bumper covers, soft filler panels. Use urethane rod or uni- weld Fiberflex rod.
Usually most house hold items are made from abs, but if not sure you will need to do a test weld on plastic. Make sure that you do the test. Where you will not be able to see it so that it doesn’t show on your part and cause you more work (like sanding and ect.) As always be careful the
welder is hot and can burn you or cause a fire!

Why does my “brake” light and my “rear abs” light come on after a hard brake on my 1992 Ford Explorer?
Normal operation after start up; all warning lights operable, but off; and normal brake function. But when I press harder than normal on the brakes, the BRAKE light and the REAR ABS light come on, and they stay on until I turn off the car. This will happen even if I’m not traveling. With the car just sitting idling, if I press the brakes too far, the lights come on. Whenever these lights are on the pedal feels a little spongy towards the bottom of travel (but that could be my paranoia) and takes longer to stop. There is NO fluid leakage anywhere, and the MC is full to the perfect level. All brake parts (pads, rotors, drums, shoes, spring kits) are around 1,000 to 1,500 miles old, and I have always changed them myself (for 10 years on this vehicle) and new front hoses were installed 4 years ago. There are no other issues with the brakes other than this. 222,000 miles and counting. Help? Please?
